TIER III Public Notice To Customers
The Bandera River Ranch Water Supply Corporation (BRR Water SC) is a Texas chartered not for profit Corporation formed by the residents of Bandera River Ranch for the purpose of operating the water system for BRR customers and the Bandera Homestead Condominiums.
BRRWSC currently has 6 wells and three treatment plants and 4 water storage tanks in the subdivision known as Bandera River Ranch. We also have one well and one treatment plant and a storage tank to supply the Bandera Homestead Condominiums.
Of the six wells within the community, five of the wells are producing from the Cow Creek formation and one from the Lower Trinity.
We also have installed a new metering system. The new meters are ultra-sonic and have no moving parts; they can detect flow rates as low as 1/10th of a gallon per minute. This will allow the Water Supply Corporation to have the capability to see water leaks in real times. If the customer has a question about their bill, the BRRWSC will be able to pull up data that shows the usage and the time it was flowing through the meter. Our community is growing and we are being proactive in having enough water to meet demands as new construction continues.
The Water System is managed by the Elected Board of Directors, which consists of five water customers. The Board is assisted by a Licensed C Operator and an Office Manager. The Water Supply Corporation operates under the rules and regulations of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
BRR Water SC Mission Statement
Operate the Water Supply Corporation to improve water service. We will accomplish this by reinvesting in the system for improvement and future growth. This will be accomplished with the cooperation of all the customers.
